Where: Fraser Park, Victoria Park
What: A casual field LARP training using the Faith and Steel Larp ruleset, found in the files section of the Facebook group. For returning LARPers, it’s a good time to hone your combat skills and catch up with one another.
Participants of training are required to have a valid LARPWest Membership, and a Training Pass. Please head over to an Advisor when you arrive so we can get paperwork squared away.
Training Passes can be bought from the Advisor Team at training or between training events for the price of $2 per pass. However, each player gets the first three Training Passes for free. Information on how to purchase Training Passes is in the Faith and Steel Larp Facebook Group
For New Folk:
Feel free to come along and check out LARP in a casual, low-pressure environment. You’re welcome to come along to have a chat and check us out, or get involved if you feel like it! New fighters get a full new player clearance and brief. The ruleset is super simple and easy to learn, so very new player friendly! Loaner weapons are usually available so you don’t have to bring your own gear. Just bring yourself along and wear comfortable clothes you can move around in, as well as $2 cash or a way to bank transfer money for your start up membership. When you arrive, head on over to one of the Advisors and we’ll get you sorted.
