Announcement: The LARPwest Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday the 25th of June at 2pm at 236 Kargotich Road, Oakford (Sam’s place).
The AGM includes:
– The election of all Committee roles
– The Committee’s annual report regarding LARPwest’s activities during the last financial year
– The financial report from the LARPwest Treasurer
– General business and discussion of membership fees
Committee election: A LARPwest member who wishes to be considered for election to the Committee at the AGM must nominate for election by sending written notice of the nomination to the Secretary (larpwestincwa@gmail.com) at least 28 days before the annual general meeting.
Deadline: 26th May
The written notice must include a statement by another member in support of the nomination.
A member may nominate for one specified position of office holder of the Association or to be an ordinary committee member.
There will also be a Discord server open so if you can’t make it in person – you can still be present and listen in!
Attending AGMs and voting on discussion points raised is a great way to have your say in the WA LARP community so I would encourage members to attend.
If you cannot attend but there is a matter you wish to vote on, Ordinary members are entitled to appoint a proxy to vote for them. Please get in touch with the committee to discuss this process.
